Google Index of WebDBX Quadruples
|
On November 10th, 2004, Google's number of indexed web pages nearly doubled to more than eight billion pages. This recent update means that Google is now even more inclusive.
This also means that there are now twice as many web pages in competition with one another for those all important top listings. The impact is such that websites that once held the number one spot based on a particular key phrase, are now finding themselves way down on the list.
WebDBX is proud to announce that not only have our clients web pages maintained their top rankings, but Google has now more than quadrupled the number of pages throughout from WebDBX. It sure seems that Google likes us alot. To boast just a little, marketing-101 and mathematics will conclude that as WebDBX has increased at double the average pace - then twice as many others must have decreased each by at least half. This equates to WebDBX being 4X more effective at search engine positioning than average. Well, we try.
Another noteworthy Google related topic at WebDBX, is that our websites now include even more Google technologies. For example you'll notice the link 'francais' on top of some of our websites. We now provide real-time language syndication based on Google's own translation capability. Plus our search engine scripts now include Googles spell check and in cases where no local page results are returned, we now provide the Google top 10.
A 468% increase in Google indexes is a milestone worth noting, but it's not the end of the road. The real test is how well we sustain keeping our clients in the most favourable positions. We'll keep on improving that too.
