Our primary responsibility is to maintain the financial health of the municipality. We prepare budgets, provide cost analysis, calculate property taxes, and collect revenues. We maintain all accounts (payables/receivables) and process the payroll for the Corporation. Payments for Scugog Hydro can be placed in a drop box in the lobby of the Municipal Offices. We are happy to inform you that you now have the opportunity to pay your taxes via our pre-authorized payment plan. We would be pleased to set this service up for your convenience, and welcome your participation.
Department hours are from 8:30am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday. Our department personnel include the Treasurer, 1 Tax Collector, 2 Tax Clerks, 1 Accounts Payable Clerk, 1 Payroll Clerk and 1 part-time (1.5 days/week) Scugog-Whitby Hydro Representative.
