Established in 1992, Dana's goldsmithing exemplifies charm and elegance with a personal, small town atmosphere. The building, restored to its original Victorian style, is nestled in the heart of historic Downtown Port Perry. Stunning window displays show only a glimpse of what is inside. Chandeliers and original tin ceilings grace the interior which house over twenty cases displaying an endless selection of fine jewellery and watches.
Dana's Goldsmithing is a member of the Canadian Jeweller's Association, the Canadian Jewellery Group and the Scugog Chamber of Commerce. We are proud to have been named 'Scugog's Business of the Year' in 1999. Other recognition awards include the Scugog Historical Society's Heritage award and Reader's Choice awards for the past 8 years.
We are very proud of the full range of services we provide; Our open repair studio offers piece of mind to our clients in knowing that their treasured items will not leave our premises. Three on-site goldsmiths enable quick turnaround on all jewellery repairs - often while you wait.
Custom design is our specialty. Let our goldsmiths create that one-of-a-kind piece of jewellery just for you. Dana's specializes in remodelling existing jewellery. If you're looking for a fitted wedding band to suit your existing engagement ring, you've come to the right place. Our premises also provide a fully equipped gemmological laboratory. Appraisals are completed on site while you wait by appointment. All estimates are free and the in-store goldsmiths will create a three dimensional wax model for their customers to view before going ahead with the final design.
Engraving is completed on the premises as well as inside ring engraving. Choose from a selection of fonts and let us take care of the rest.
Timely watch and clock repairs are available on most makes and models. Battery replacements and watch link adjustments are done while you wait. Pearl restringing is also available.
